The Poised Guitarist

Often guitarists who suffer from limitation express a hesitance to moving as they play. Virtuoso classical guitarist, Dennis Azabagic, responds to the question: Do you move for a living?

Dennis really made a point of keeping a sense of the interconnected whole of the movements while playing.  We map the parts and we map the whole.  In free movement the parts are always conceived of as moving within a larger whole.  This is a great example of how the inclusiveness of our attention effects the quality of movement.

If you are wondering, yes that is composer-guitarist Frank Wallace making a cameo appearance.  Frank was sitting in on the interview interview that night after the wonderful concert Dennis had given for the Boston Classical Guitar Society.
